I feel cheated

Has it ever happened to you that you are waiting for something for such a long time, to then have it ripped off your hands at the last second? Like, to set some examples, waiting for the release date of a game only to have the release date pushed back the day before launch? Or waiting for food to be done to then have it burn and have to start over again?

That's how I feel today.
